Writting

As we know the media today has a lot of influence in people’s minds, so it is important to be careful on what it is being transmitted on the programs they issue. Despite people liking these programs, sometimes there aren't good for the public they are focusing on, and the schedules aren't appropriate either.

They have to be more educational programs or cartoons in hours that children are used to see more television, the same in the morning; only parents or older people are watching TV. So the media must issue programs about topics of interest, including: kitchen, home, family behavior, news, etc. However, there also must be more comedy in the afternoons because when people return from work or children of school they want to relax and gaze something they enjoy.

Although reality is different, I hope this comment will be considered.

Introduction

This activity gave us the opportunity to discuss and give our opinion about the Media and some issues around it.

This is the final version of my essay without errors:

The Influence of the Media

The media are influential in society because they are the ones who interpret and disclose the information that is heard or read by millions. However it would be important to analyze how high they can reach to affect people's minds by both modifying and omitting information; either for convenience or cover any reality they do not want to be exposed.

The media are always on the lookout for a new stories, not to mention the competition created by different television networks for some exclusive story, so much they want it that they come to invent relatives of someone who declare false testimony, friends or even alter the facts saying the events occurred in one way, when in fact occurred in a very different way.

The media have shown great indifference to expose what really is of interest to society; instead, they only care for features and exclusive, so they can achieve a greater number of audience. The reality is that things transmitted or published in the media into some extent are censored and manipulated. The truth is that people only see what they want and do not care about looking beyond the information that is provided to them.
