INTRODUCTION

In the Movie 12 years a slave, Solomon had to made a decision. Patsy asked him to kill her and he decided not to do it. We are going ti analyz if it was a good decision or a bad one.

ANALYSIS

The decision that Solomon had to take wasn’t easy but the point here is if it was the correct one, as we know nobody can take away the life of anybody. But what if they are asking for it, what can you do in this case?

Solomon made the decision; not to kill Patsy because he said that he cannot carry on with the blame of killing someone and that his religion didn’t allow him, but later on the circumstances get worse and he had to flog Patsy, he made her suffer as never before in her life.

So here is the dilemma; what is worse killing someone or makeling them suffer matchlessly?

In my opinion I think no one with great values can easily kill someone but although the person cannot live with the blame of making suffer a person, besides you ever know what it’s going to be the destiny or future of anybody so you cannot ensure that things are going to get better or worse, but maybe for that person the better thing is not to live anymore and you can only aspire to do what the person thinks is the best for himself and expect it to be.
